LETI Hosts Russia's First School for Principal Investigators in AI
On September 20-29, Alexander Popov International Innovation Institute for Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity and Communications will hold a school "Principal Investigator in Artificial Intelligence."
For nine days, students will learn about the current global agenda and innovations in artificial intelligence, acquire and improve their leadership skills, and solve practical tasks to develop intelligent autonomous systems and driverless vehicles at the largest robotarium in Russia (100 m² of floor space).
The best students will be able to compete in the Artificial Intelligence Driving Olympics, held in December at NeurIPS, the leading artificial intelligence conference.
Under the guidance of leading scientists from ETH Zürich, UMontréal, and LETI, the participants will gain the competencies needed to eventually lead their own projects related to AI.
Master's and Ph.D. students in the last years of study with technical majors, with experience in software development in Python and the English level not lower than Upper Intermediate, are invited to participate.
