Join an Online Course on Robotics and Computer Creativity
From October 26, Dr. Lorenzo Scalera from the University of Udine (Italy) will hold an online course titled "Introduction to Robotics and Computer Creativity" for students of ETU "LETI" engineering faculties interested in automatic machines in the field of art.
The course presents an introduction to robotics and an overview of the application of robots and automatic machines to creativity and art.
In the first part of the course, Dr. Scalera will present a general introduction to the structure and classification of industrial robots and manipulators. Then, he will describe the kinematics and trajectory planning for robotic applications.
Finally, the course will focus on collaborative robotics and on the use of robotic machines to develop novel forms of art and painting. Professor will introduce and describe artistically skilled robots together with the algorithms that allow them to develop new artistic expressions.
The course duration is 20 hours. Details and registration are available here.
