Forum of Vietnamese graduates of ETU in Hanoi

The event held on November 8th at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Hanoi was attended by about 100 graduates of ETU “LETI” from different cities and provinces of Vietnam.

The event held on November 8th at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Hanoi was attended by about 100 graduates of ETU “LETI” from different cities and provinces of Vietnam. Rector of ETU Vladimir M. Kutuzov, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Viktor A. Tupik and former Dean of the Foreign Students Office Vladimir P. Miroshkin arrived to Hanoi by invitation of their ex-students and were guests of honor at the Forum. The friendly meeting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and partner-universities of ETU “LETI”.

Vietnamese Association of Graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities (VINAKORVUZ) is one of the main partner organizations of the "Rossotrudnichestvo" representational office in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. One of the most numerous and active associations of the organization is the ETU “LETI” Alumni Association in Vietnam, led by the President Chiang Ngon Hung.

The event was organized in festive format. Welcoming speeches were alternated with presentations of charters, medals, gifts, brochures and demonstrations of videos about ETU “LETI”. The meeting was completed in the informal setting where participants took pictures, discussed the news published in recent issues of the ETU newspaper "Electric" and reflected on their student years.

The Memorandum of Cooperation between ETU “LETI” and ETU Alumni Association of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam was signed at the meeting. The parties agreed to exchange information about graduates’ career and directions, forms and conditions of training. According to the document, the parties consider necessary to develop educational, scientific and cultural relations aimed at training highly qualified personnel for Vietnam.
