ETU "LETI" entered the top 7 universities in Moscow and St. Petersburg
St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University "LETI" took 7th place in the ranking of efficiency of Russian universities and their administrations.
The National Foundation for Innovation Support in Education published the results of the Ranking on Performance Indicators of the Federal Budget and Autonomous Educational Higher Education Institutions of under the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, and the Work of Their Administrations.
The methodology of the ranking included the average United State Exam mark of the applicants, the share of master's and PhD students among all students, the number of international students, the income of the university from research and development, the publication volume of the university.
ETU "LETI" entered the second league of five, taking 7th place among 48 universities located in Moscow and St. Petersburg. In total, 217 state universities of the Russian Federation, subordinated to the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, were rated.
The high position of the university is due to the attraction of applicants with a high average United State Exam mark, internationalization, and advanced research.
Among the universities of St. Petersburg in the second league, there are also Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Saint Petersburg Academic University, and St. Petersburg Mining University.
