Cryptography, coding theory, and mathematics: lectures of a foreign professor at ETU "LETI"
Dr. Peter Boyvalenkov, Associate Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, will give lectures on cryptography, coding theory, and mathematics at ETU "LETI."
Lecture by Dr. Peter Boyvalenkov, Professor, Associate Director of the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (Sofia, Bulgaria), called Symmetric Cryptosystems - DES, AES will take place on October 29 at 15:30.
The second lecture will take place on October 31 at 16:00. The topic is Number Theory for Cryptography.
Place of lectures: videoconference room of the building 5.
Theoretical and practical aspects of lectures include the mathematical foundations of cryptanalysis, cryptosystems, encryption standards and algorithms, and cryptographic protection tools for embedded systems. Dr. Peter Boyvalenkov will also discuss the use of number theory for cryptography.

Dr. Peter Boyvalenkov is a recognized specialist in the field of mathematical aspects of cryptography and coding theory. He was a member of the program and organizing committees of more than 20 international scientific conferences and had talks on more than 50 international scientific conferences. Professor is the vice-president of the Union of the Bulgarian Mathematicians since 2017.
Dr. Peter Boyvalenkov will take part in the plenary session at the III International Conference on Control in Technical Systems (CTS’2019), which will take place at ETU "LETI" from October 30 to November 1.
