We invite everyone to a lecture in the field of magnonics by Mitsuteru Inoue, Professor of Toyohashi University of Technology (Japan).

On October 9, 2019, at 11:40, Mitsuteru Inoue, Professor of Toyohashi University of Technology (Japan) will give a lecture on the topic “Magnetic Phase Interference in Artificial Magnetic Lattices: Functions and Applications to Optical, High-Frequency, and Spin Wave Devices" in the videoconference room of the building 5.
In this talk, the professor will discuss the fundamental properties of nano- and submicrometer-scale artificial magnetic lattices (AMLs) and demonstrate their applications in optical and spin-wave micro-devices driven by magnetic phase interference. Prospective future spin-wave devices with AMLs will be discussed in the context of the new paradigm of magnonics (electron non-transport electronics), where spin waves play an important role as the information carrier.

Professor Mitsuteru Inoue authored more than 300 articles in high-ranking journals indexed by Web of Science and is an honored lecturer at the IEEE Magnetic Society. In 2018, he lectured at 118 universities in the world. Since 2014, he has been Executive Manager and Vice-President of Toyohashi University of Technology.
