Best online courses for ETU "LETI" students
Due to the spread of coronavirus disease, ETU "LETI" students have access to free online courses on the Coursera platform and the national Open Education platform.
Since March 18, 2020, ETU "LETI" has joined the Coursera for Campus partner program, under which the Coursera online learning platform enables free access to more than 3,800 online courses for partner universities that are switching to distance learning due to the coronavirus disease spread. The courses will be accessible until July 31, and the period will be extended if necessary.
ETU "LETI" lecturers have an invaluable opportunity to use online courses from the best world universities to teach their students. To access Coursera online courses, lecturers need to send an application to email@example.com naming the discipline, online course(s) of interest, and student group numbers.
The Center for New Educational Technologies and Distance Learning reminds that the national Open Education platform offers access to special sessions of their online courses for free to all Russian universities that are switching to online learning to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus disease. Students will have access to all course materials and two attempts to complete test assignments. Upon completion of the online courses, universities will receive information about the students' learning results.
496 courses from leading Russian universities, including ETU "LETI," are already available on the Open Education platform. Now, the platform management together with partner universities is working on expanding the list of open online courses. ETU "LETI" is also actively involved in this work and will soon significantly increase the number of its open courses on the platform.
