In 2021 Saint-Petersburg Electrotechnical University LETI celebrates its 135th Birthday
The Magical Electrotechnical (alias St. Petersburg Electrotechnical University or LETI) turns 135. We treasure its glorious past, produce innovative present and shape the emerging future. The 135th Year program revitalizes unique heritage, highlights advanced research and education formats of today and discusses the LETI World of tomorrow. For example, how the LETI campus will meet its 150th anniversary?
Program of the special year is opened by the international discussion Academic Spaces of Future Universities. Word-level experts and educators will tell how global universities will change after the pandemic, what leading European universities do with lecture rooms and experimental places to manage the changed reality. LETI will present its perspectives.
135th Year is a good reason to re-estimate the place where we work and study, our campus. Magical Electrotechnical is one of the most interesting places on the map of St. Petersburg. How to make it more attractive, comfortable and up-to-date? These questions will be answered by the International Contest of Young Architects LETI: Future Academic Spaces. It is organized by SPbETU jointly with St. Petersburg Architecture and Civil Engineering University.
