Elena Solovieva graduated from ETU "LETI" with honors and a degree in Information Measurement Technology in 1987. She defended her thesis in Theoretical Electrical Engineering in 1990. Elena Solovieva was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor at the Department of Theoretical Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering in 1996. She defended her doctoral thesis in Theoretical Electrical Engineering in 2001.
Since 1990, Elena Solovieva has been working at the Department of Theoretical Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, consistently ascending the corporate ladder by becoming a Junior Research Assistant, Assistant, Associate Professor, Professor, and Head of the Department (since 2008).
She authored and co-authored more than 200 scientific papers, monographs, textbooks, and teaching aids.
Elena Solovieva is holding the position of member of three dissertation councils in the fields of Electrical Technology; Mathematical Modeling, Numerical Methods and Program Complexes; Systems, Networks, and Telecommunications Devices.
Her sphere of research interest is analysis, modeling, and synthesis of nonlinear analog and digital systems based on functional polynomials and neural networks.
Elena Solovieva was awarded the Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. She is a full member of the Academy of Electrotechnical Sciences of the Russian Federation.
