Honorary title "Honorary Doctor of St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University"

The title of Honorary Doctor of St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" (hereinafter – "Honorary Doctor") is awarded by the Academic Council of the University to Russian and foreign citizens who have made a significant contribution to the development of science and higher education.

The title of Honorary Doctor of St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University "LETI" (hereinafter - "Honorary Doctor") is awarded by the Academic Council of the University to Russian and foreign citizens who have made a significant contribution to the development of science and higher education.

This honorary title can be awarded both for generally recognized personal scientific achievements or personal contribution to the organization of applied scientific research and the development of the engineering education system, and for social and political activities that contribute to the development of applied science and engineering education.

The conferral of the title is certified by a diploma and an award pin. The photo of the laureate is placed in the gallery "Honorary Doctors of St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University" LETI "named after V.I. Ulyanov (Lenin)".

After the Academic Council of the University has made a decision on awarding the title, the newly elected Honorary Doctor of ETU "LETI" is invited to one of the meetings of the Academic Council to make a presentation on an agreed topic. At the same meeting, the rector of the university presents the honorary electrical engineer with a diploma and an award pin.
