Honorary title "Honorary Electrical Engineer of St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University"

On March 6, 2003, the Academic Council of ETU "LETI" approved the Regulations for conferring the title of "Honorary Electrical Engineer at ETU "LETI".

Honorary Electrical Engineer of ETU “LETI”

The title is awarded by the Academic Council of the University to Russian and foreign citizens who have made a significant contribution to the development of applied science and engineering education.

This honorary title can be awarded both for generally recognized personal scientific achievements or personal contribution to the organization of applied scientific research and the development of the engineering education system, and for social and political activities that contribute to the development of applied science and engineering education.

The conferral of the title is certified by a diploma and an award pin. The photo of the laureate is placed in the gallery "Honorary Electrical Engineers of St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University" LETI "named after V.I. Ulyanov (Lenin)".

After the Academic Council of the University has made a decision on awarding the title, the newly elected Honorary Electrical Engineer of ETU "LETI" is invited to one of the meetings of the Academic Council to make a presentation on an agreed topic. At the same meeting, the rector of the university presents the honorary electrical engineer with a diploma and an award pin.
