This program of Winter School includes:

This program of Winter School includes:

3. History of the Russian Revolution in St. Petersburg: 1900 – 1917

This program of Winter School includes:

  • Russian Empire in the XX century;
  • First Russian Revolution, 1905-1907;
  • Russia in the First World War;
  • February Revolution of 1917;
  • October Revolution of 1917.

4. Industrial Software Engineering for Robotics and Internet of Things

This program of Winter School includes:

  • Introduction to Embedded Programming for Microcontrollers;
  • Introduction to Embedded Linux Programming;
  • Introduction to Robot Operating System.

5. Intercultural Communication in Business

This program of Winter School includes:

  • Cultural Peculiarities in Business Based on “Cultural Web”;

6. Laser and Optical Measurements

7. Mechatronics and Robotics

This program of Winter School includes:

  • Introduction to Wireless Control System Development for Multi-stage Mechanical Objects.

8. Renewable Energy

This program of Winter School includes:

  • Introduction to Renewable Energy Sources;
  • Introduction to Photovoltaics: Physics, Technology, Metrology;
  • Materials Science Aspects of Photovoltaics;
  • Solar Power Plants: Design, Equipment and Automation.

Winter Schools in Russian

Winter School of Russian Language and Culture

  • Unique combination of obtaining professional knowledge and immersion in Russian life, culture and history through excursions, etc;
  • Classes are held at ETU "LETI", in classrooms and laboratories, as well as outside audiences: excursions around St. Petersburg and the suburbs, visits to museums and cultural sites are included in the program;
  • Certificate of Winter School participant will be issued by the end of the program;
  • All levels included: you can be a beginner - or even proficient in Russian Language, you can still enroll with other people of your level.

Winter School of Russian Language and Culture program includes:

  1. Lectures (theory);
  2. Vocational training and practice;

1. Russian Language and Cultural Heritage of Russia

2nd intake: 18 - 24 February, 2019   
Tuition fees: 15000 RUR (∼200-250 USD; ∼175-225 Euro)
includes training, excursion program, study materials, migration support.
Outcome: ETU "LETI" certificate, 2 ECTS
Deadlines:

2. European Union citizens – December 15, 2018
3. Russian visa is required – November 20, 2018

This program pays the most attention to spoken Russian language. A considerable amount of learning sessions are held outdoors. Students are provided with guided tours and training sessions in the urban environment. Students attend museums and sightseeing attractions of St. Petersburg and its suburbs. In the course of such learning sessions they get acquainted with Russian cultural heritage and immerse themselves in Russian language. Group programs could be developed upon preliminary agreement. The full course lasts for 1 weeks and 36 academic hours.

2. Gems of Russian Culture in Russian Language

This program is a perfect fit for an under- and postgraduate student with a liberal arts major. The program includes such courses as Russian history and culture. It enables students to learn or recall major events of Russian history, get to know gems of Russian culture, practice Russian and experience St. Petersburg easily and naturally. The full course lasts 2 weeks and 72 academic hours.
