The Department of Applied Economics was established in 2001 as a general education department to strengthen the economic training of students.
Among the graduates of the department were representatives of the USA, India, Mongolia, Vietnam, China, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the Baltic States, and other countries.
The specialty of the training of department graduates is learning based on in-depth scientific and technical knowledge combined with a knowledge of legal foundations of crisis management, economic analysis, diagnostics and forecasting of organizations, financial recovery of companies and credit organizations, prevention of insolvency in conditions of economic instability and crisis.
Gaining a system of economic, legal, and managerial competencies in the organization and management of business structures during training allows graduates of the department to work successfully in various fields, such as management, banking, accounting, and auditing.
