The program graduates research and develop micro- and nanosystem-based technology; heterostructures and nanostructures for opto- and nanoelectronics; physics and technology of nanocomposites; optical and capacitive spectroscopy of quantum-dimensional systems; physics and technology of wide-band semiconductor devices.

- Students can take internships in leading Russian and international companies, and enterprises in St. Petersburg.

Every year students take internships in Germany, Great Britain, Finland, France, Switzerland, etc. Certificates and diplomas of European standard are issued as the result of such internships and training programs.
