Students of LETI won again

Our students defended sport honor of LETI in the Championship of Russian universities in benchpress on May 10-11 in Nizhny Novgorod.

Our students defended sport honor of LETI in the Championship of Russian universities in  benchpress on May 10-11 in Nizhny Novgorod.

This time in the picked team there were pupils of senior coach Andrey O. Vendik - Anna Petkova, Tatiana Kuzmina, Maria Shcherbakova; Vladislav Shovdra, Sergey Gorunov; graduate student Aleksey Monahov, who trains on his own in the gym of dormitory of Faculty of Computer Science and Technology.

All of them  pleased everyone with their performances. All girls won gold medals. Women's LETI team took first place in the team placing, moreover, Anna became the absolute champion of the competition.

Vladislav took second place in 59-kg weight category, Sergey took the second place in the category of 83 kg and Aleksey won the third place in 105-kg category.
