Race4Scale program of 2021 will offer the diverse program of events for its target groups. At the time of epidemiological uncertainty, the project will use both offline and online formats.
The newly arrived 2021 is going to be the most eventful year of the project. Race4Scale partners are busy with publications, which will integrate outputs of the 2020 project activities. Two coupled webinars of last year were dedicated to future professions and emerging technologies for the automotive industry. In February - March, the interdisciplinary curricula on priority research areas of the project are drafted. They include such disciplines as Artificial Intelligence, Biointerface, Advanced Wireless Technologies. They are important for the transboundary professional education within the cross-border Finish-Russian ecosystem.
Race4Scale program of 2021 will offer the diverse program of events for its target groups. At the time of epidemiological uncertainty, the project will use both offline and online formats. In spring, Finnish and Russian partners will hold Russian Teacher Weeks to share best practices and experience in teaching future demand professions. Agenda for August foresees a series of Innovation camps. Their program includes practical exercise: Finnish-Russian student groups will find best solutions for real-life business cases and problems having the cross-border relevance. Another series of events, the Industry Days, will provide the matchmaking of business, research and education professionals.
Early 2021 LETI will do the benchmarking of the automotive and motorsport ecosystem in the European context to use the best practices and management tools in the future Russian-Finnish ecosystem.
Visits to the benchmarked companies and automotive clusters are planned for autumn. The stakeholders are confident that the future Finnish-Russian automotive ecosystem will benefit from the identified best practices and proven management approaches. This business insight is indispensable for the education and training of innovative and skilled professionals.
A project like Race4Scale is impossible without innovative research and development. The LETI team has presented several foresight projects and innovations: the passive radar system for self-driving vehicles, driver health and safety monitoring system, autonomous vehicle software, etc. Of special interest is the electric car developed and assembled by teenagers and university students in the Kudrovo Education Center.
