BASIC RULES OF STAY OF FOREIGN CITIZENS IN RUSSIAN FEDERATION
Terms:
FOREIGN NATIONAL (FN) - is a person who is not a citizen of the Russian Federation and who has a citizenship of the foreign state.
STATELESS PERSON (SP) - - is a person who is not a citizen of the Russian Federation and doesn’t have any nationality, or a recognized link between an individual and any foreign state.
FN or SP can enter the Russian Federation for study purposes on the basis of VISA or be subjected to VISA-FREE ENTRY.
NOTIFICATION OF FOREGN CITIZEN REGISTRATION IN FMS (hereinafter referred to as NOTIFICATION) – fixation of information about the residence of foreign citizen in the Russian Federation.
DEPORTATION - is the expulsion of a person or group of people from a place or country, if the person lost his legal status to remain in the Russian Federation.
ATTENTION, PLEASE:
Each NEW ENTRY to the Russian Federation should be accompanied by the NEW registration in FMS.
The current registration is ANNULED by any change of accommodation in the Russian Federation (different dormitory, hotel change, stay at the medical institution).
